GAYTON LE MARSH PARISH MEETING & WINDFARM AGM

HELD AT GAYTON LE MARSH VILLAGE HALL

TUESDAY 18th MAY 2021 7.00pm

1. Attending: 27 Residents in attendance

Apologies: Les Milton, Marilyn Milton, Colette Morris.

Due to inclement weather, we met distanced in the hall.

2.  Welcome & Thanks:

Carol welcomed everyone and thanked Sue for all the hard work she had put in over the years and especially supporting her during the last six months. Diana had produced an excellent Excel program for doing the accounts, which Carol thanked her for.

She also thanked Joan for coming along to take the minutes.

3. Finance:

 (i) There is a balance of £1,755.73 in the Parish account and in the Windfarm accounts there is £10,157.98 in the current account, £23,885.93 in the savings account and £12,904.83 in the investment account.

This is the 10% that is put aside each year for when the money from the Windfarm ceases to generate funds.

These figures are correct as of 31/03/2021

A copy of these accounts were circulated and approved by the Parish Meeting.

(ii) PKFLittlejohns supply the AGAR (Annual Governance and Accountability Return) forms, which will need to be submitted by the new committee if elected.

4. Election of Officers:

Carol asked if anyone was willing to stand as Chair to the Gayton le Marsh Parish Meeting and Rick Crust offered his services.

Hans proposed him and Andrew seconded.  A show of hands in support was unanimous. Mark Henry offered to be Correspondence Clerk. Peter Buckeridge agreed to be financial clerk and the Responsible Financial Officer (RFO).

Rick requested a vice chair and Keith Robinson agreed to this position. These positions were all agreed unanimously by a show of hands.

6. Parish Representatives to Village Hall Committee.

It was explained that the Parish nominated three people to be on the village hall committee and asked if there was anyone who would like to be a village hall trustee.

Nobody came forward but there is no time limit, and volunteers can come forward at any time and asked that interested parties get in touch with the new Parish Meeting Committee.

As the new Parish Chair, Rick Crust thanked everyone for their support and said that he hoped that projects could soon be considered.

The meeting closed at 7.30pm.
